Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that the country will be in danger of economic catastrophe if state budget 2016 isn't approved.
"We, as a government of Ukraine, won't allow messing up a financial stability of the state, to halt financing of the army, National Police. We won't admit non-payment pensions and salaries since irresponsibility of certain parliamentary fractions and parliamentarians will bring us to this – non-payment pensions, non-payment salaries, no financing of the Ukrainian army, Ukrainian police, schools, hospitals, in fact an economic catastrophe of the country. I won't let it happen," he said before the government's sitting in Kyiv on Wednesday.
The premier stressed how important for Verkhovna Rada is to promptly adopt the 2016 state budget draft.
