Government's idle liquidity today is UAH 2.7 bln – finance minister
Idle liquidity of the Ukrainian government in the form of ending stocks on the single treasury account today is UAH 2.7 billion, Finance Minister of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko said at the parliament on Thursday.
The minister said that as of December 17, a total of UAH 29.6 billion are on the single treasury account, UAH 47.6 billion in equivalent on currency accounts, and this is UAH 77.2 billion in general. She said that UAH 24.4 billion are funds of local budgets, UAH 8.1 billion are funds of other clients, for example, universities. As of December 1, 2015, UAH 42 billion of expenses were not settled and they will be settled in December 2015.
"If we take this sum [UAH 77.2 billion], remove funds of local budgets, funds of other clients and unsettled expenses, we have liquidity of UAH 2.7 billion," Jaresko said.
