DTEK acquires 88.1% of all bids for access to exports of electricity in 2016 at Ukrenergo's auction
DTEK Pavlohradvuhillia LLC, part of private energy holding DTEK than belongs to businessman Rinat Akhmetov, at an auction to distribute access to used power grids to export electricity in 2016 held by national energy company Ukrenergo bought lots to export 2,125 MW of electricity of 88.1% of electricity offered at the auction.
Eru Trading (the subsidiary of Energy Resources of Ukraine) bought 161 MW two thirds of which will be exported to Belarus, while Donbasenergo bought 105 MW, which almost in equal parts will be exported to Belarus and Moldova.
Lots for access to 927 MW to export electricity to Belarus, 829 MW to Moldova, 414 MW from the Burshtyn Island to Slovakia, Hungary and Romania an 242 MW from Dobrotvirska thermal power plant to Zamosc (Poland) were put up for sale at the auction.
