Ukraine's Cabinet has enacted temporary extraordinary measures on the electricity market, according to a resolution published on the government web portal.
The resolution makes it possible to adjust the size of "green tariffs" for electricity, establish additional payments to electricity generators, adjust investment programs and set requirements for generating schedules and limits on capacity.
The resolution is effective for one month.
The Cabinet last approved extraordinary measures for the electricity market on March 31, 2015, in response to non-payments by consumers and shortages of coal.
