Energy Ministry working on new contract on electricity supply to Crimea
Ukraine's Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry is working on a new contract for the supply of electricity to the territory of Crimea, Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn has said.
"We are working on the agreement," he told reporters in Kyiv.
Demchyshyn added that the leaders of the Crimean Tatars demand that the text of the agreement noted the affiliation of Crimea to Ukraine.
"The Crimean Tatars demand that the document indicate Crimea as Ukraine in parentheses. I agree with that," he added.
