Jaresko expects third tranche of EFF loan from IMF immediately after adoption of budget, Tax Code
The adoption of a new Tax Code and a balanced national budget for 2016 will allow Ukraine to quickly get the third tranche of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) loan under the EFF program, Ukraine's Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko has said.
"Once we meet [these conditions], we can expect an IMF decision," the minister said at a press conference in Kyiv.
At the same time, she clarified that the draft final updated memorandum of economic policies following the second revision of the EFF program is not available now.
The government expects the parliament to pass the national budget for 2016 on the basis of the new Tax Code by the end of 2015.
