Ukraine intends to cut public spending to 41% of GDP in 2016 – finance minister
The Finance Ministry of Ukraine plans to cut public spending in 2016 to 41% of GDP from 46% of GDP in 2014, Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko has said.
"The draft national budget for 2016 includes the reduction of spending to 41% of GDP. Public expenses are cut by 5% of GDP," she said in Kyiv at a press conference on the report of economic block ministers after a year they run their posts.
