Ukraine has published its first report as a part of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI).
The document was presented at the Forum for sustainable management of deposits held in Kyiv on December 7 and December 8 and was posted on the website of the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry of Ukraine.
"Thanks to this each has a chance to learn about the key oil and gas deposits in Ukraine, the holders of licenses, production volumes, and payments by companies to the budgets of all levels. The report has the detailed data covering 2013," the national secretariat of the EITI said.
It is planned to include information on coal and iron ore production in the new report.
As reported, Ukraine joined EITI in 2009.
