Draft state budget for 2016 foresees UAH 6 bln for communities, regional development, energy saving - Zubko
The draft national budget of Ukraine for 2016 foresees about UAH 6 billion to support united communities, regional development and energy saving funds, Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Services Hennadiy Zubko has said.
"Today we are laying UAH 5.7 billion [in the draft budget for 2016] to use these funds for the following things: first of all, to support the communities that have united, 159 practical projects, namely projects of changes in the country," he said at the conference "The constitutional reform in Ukraine: achievements and prospects" in Kyiv.
He also said that part of the proceeds out of UAH 5.7 billion will be spent on the regional development fund, "which will define what priorities should be made" to strengthen communities and local governance.
Zubko also noted that part of this money will be used to resolve the issue of energy safety and energy saving.
