Yatseniuk sure new Tax Code, 2016 budget will be passed by year's end
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk hopes that bills on a new Tax Code and the national budget for 2016 will be passed by the end of the year.
"There is only one scenario, and there will be no others – the bill of Ukraine on the national budget will be passed. The Tax Code which the Ukrainian economy badly needs today must also be passed," he said in an interview with Ukrainian TV channels on Friday.
As was reported, the Cabinet of Ministers on December 2 put off the approval of the new wording of the Tax Code and the 2016 budget, which is based on this Tax Code, for several days. The government said it needed additional time for consultations with the factions of the parliamentary coalition.
Yatseniuk said earlier he hoped that the consultations would be completed this week.
