Naftogaz Ukrainy awaiting suggestions from Gazprom for gas prices for Q1, 2016

State Energy Company Naftogaz Ukrainy is awaiting suggestions from Russia's Gazprom for the price of gas for Ukraine for the first quarter in 2016, CEO of the oil company Andriy Kobolev told Interfax on Friday.

He said that before the end of 2015 the price for gas which was suggested by Gazprom was not competitive in comparison with the proposals in the European market.

"Current quotes for January indicate a further decline in prices. We will look at the proposal of the Russian side in the first quarter," Kobolev said.
