NCER retains electricity tariffs for energy supply companies for Dec
Ukraine's National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER) has approved retail electricity tariffs for energy supply companies for December 2015.
The tariffs are stipulated in commission resolution No. 2875 of November 26, 2015.
Retails tariffs for first-class electricity consumers from December 1 will be at 123.8 kopecks per kilowatt-hour (not including VAT), and those for second-class electricity consumers 152.08 kopecks per kilowatt-hour (not including VAT).
As reported, in 2014, the tariffs for first-class electricity consumers were increased by 27.2%, to 103.21 kopecks and for second-class electricity consumers by 21.9%, to 125.82 kopecks.
In 2013, retail tariffs increased by 9.1%.
The National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation regulates the activity of monopoly entities in the fields of energy, heating supply, central water supply and drainage, oil and gas industries, solid waste treatment, and implements state price and tariff setting policies in these sectors.
