Finance ministry includes average hryvnia forex rate of UAH 24.1/$1 to draft 2016 national budget

Draft 2016 national budget of Ukraine is built on the forecast of the average annual hryvnia exchange rate of UAH 24.10/$1, according to the document posted on the Finance Ministry's website.

The ministry said that by late 2016, the national currency exchange rate to the U.S. dollar will be UAH 24.40/$1.

As reported, according to the revised IMF-supported Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program for Ukraine, the hryvnia exchange rate to the U.S. dollar by late 2015 is planned at UAH 23.5/$1, UAH 24.4/$1 by late 2016 and UAH 24.9/$1 by late 2017.
