State Aviation Service's commission recommends assigning Motor Sich airline for Kyiv-Minsk route
The commission of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine to issue assignments to airlines for flights has recommended the head of the service to assign Motor Sich airline for the Kyiv-Minsk route with flight frequency of 14 times a week.
An Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has reported that three airlines submitted application for this route: Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) asked to increase frequency of flights on the route from 14 to 21 a week; Yanair asked for the assignment for seven flights a week and Motor Sich – for 14 flights a week.
The intergovernmental agreement is in effect between Ukraine and Belarus, and there were 14 vacant flights left. The commission held a tender and Motor Sich won it. UIA and Yanair's applications were not satisfied.
