Poroshenko thanks Obama for promising military aid in 2016
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has thanked U.S. President Barack Obama for his promise to provide Ukraine with military aid in 2016.
"Thanks to President Obama for this powerful military aid for Ukraine! This is an example of our partner’s solidarity and support," he tweeted.
As reported, Obama has signed the Congress-approved U.S. national defense budget 2016, which foresees military aid for Ukraine in the amount of $300 million.
