World Bank experts to present report on Naftogaz restructuring with gas transportation business unit by early 2016

A group of World Bank experts will present a report on the restructuring of national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy with a gas transportation business unit by January 2016, head of the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry's department for European integration Mykhailo Bno-Airiian wrote on his Facebook page.

"This week a group of experts from the World Bank will work in Kyiv and they are to analyze various models. By late December they are to present the final report," he said.

He said that on Tuesday a first meeting of the group with the participation of the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry, Naftogaz Ukrainy, and international financial institutions was held on restructuring of Naftogaz Ukrainy with the creation of a gas transportation business unit.
