Deposit guarantee fund to prolong term of payments to Delta Bank's depositors
The Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund will prolong the term of payments to depositors of Delta Bank (Kyiv) being under liquidation under the general register of depositors that was planned to finish on November 18, the fund said on its website.
The fund said that it will continue paying to depositors after a routine break of around two weeks, as 300,000 out of 400,000 depositors in the register have not yet come to receive payments.
The fund said that the bank's depositors received UAH 15.1 billion or 94% of the guaranteed sum.
As reported, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on October 2, 2015 under the fund's proposal decided to revoke the banking license of Delta Bank and liquidate it.
