Poroshenko expects access of Ukrainian goods to EU market will be expanded
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has appealed to European Commissioner for Trade Cecilia Malmstrom by asking her to provide support for Ukrainian exports to the EU, in particular by expanding access to EU markets for Ukrainian products.
According to the presidential press service, Poroshenko said this at a meeting with Malmstrom in Kyiv on Friday.
In addition, both officials discussed the issue of providing Ukraine with the second tranche of EU macro-financial assistance.
"We've already implemented a number of our obligations and will make every effort to implement the remaining activities to obtain aid from the European Union," the president said.
