Russia ’s attempts to block IMF’s credits to Ukraine fail - NBU head
Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Valeriya Gontreva has said that Russian attempts to block the further crediting of Ukraine by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have failed.
“The IMF has said that it will continue financing, as it is not Ukraine that refuses restructuring [of the Russian debt]. Ukraine proposed the same conditions to Russia as conditions for other creditors… I think that this is the right decision – to offer the same conditions to everyone,” she said at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.
