Ukraine exports 14.5 mln tonnes of grain by Nov 9 – Agriculture Ministry
Ukraine had exported 14.548 million tonnes of grain by November 9, 2015, the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry said on Monday.
In particular, wheat exports totaled 7.961 million tonnes, maize exports stood at 3.058 million tonnes, barley exports were 3.468 million tonnes, and supplies of other grain crops abroad amounted to 53,000 tonnes.
The ministry said that bid prices of grain were between UAH 2,800 and UAH 3,700 per tonne of third-grade wheat, while those of sixth-grade coarse wheat were between UAH 2,620 and UAH 3,480 per tonne depending on a region.
Prices of third-grade food grain are now set at UAH 3,292 per tonne, and those of third-grade coarse grain are at UAH 3,064 per tonne.
The average prices of barley are fixed at UAH 3,187 per tonne, and those of maize at UAH 3,013 per tonne.
