Kyiv considering China as possible partner for completing two Khmelnytsky NPP blocks
Ukraine is studying the possibility of having China as a possible partner in completing the construction of the third and fourth energy block s at Khmeln y tsky nuclear power plant (NPP), Energy and Coal Industry minister of Ukraine V olodymyr D emchyshyn has said at a press conference in Kyiv.
As of right now preparation work is underway to find a new partner for the completion of these blocks.
"We closed the issue with the Russians for the old contract and are starting a new process," he said.
"Certainly Russia has good results and a large potential with this issue, but we are looking towards China and other partners, also Westinghouse," he said.
