Ukraine to halt electricity imports from Russia from Nov 11
Ukraine will suspend electricity imports from Russia from November 11, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn has said at a briefing.
"We'll stop receiving electricity from Russia from Wednesday," he said.
Demchyshyn said electricity imports from Russia would end due to the commissioning of the third unit of Rivne nuclear power plant, which will enable Ukraine to dispense with the need to buy electricity abroad.
