Competition agency permits China's CNBM to buy solar power plants affiliated with Andriy Kliuyev
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has approved the acquisition of shares in the solar power plants Voskhod Solar, Neptun Solar (both in Mykolaiv region), Danube Solar Power Plant One, Danube Solar Power Plant Two, Franco Solar, Franco PV, Pryozerna One, Pryozerna Two, Lymanska Energy One, Lymanska Energy Two (all based in Odesa region) by China's CNBM International Corporation.
"CNBM International Corporation is one of the largest state corporations in China… CNBM has been operating on the Ukrainian market for around five years and is one of the most powerful players on the sustainable energy market in Ukraine. Additionally, the company is finishing the registration of some Ukrainian assets in the wind power sector," the committee's press service said.
As reported, all the above-mentioned solar power plants were built by Activ Solar and are affiliated with the former head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andriy Kliuyev, who has fled the country.
