Ukrzaliznytsia's investment in upgrading track, wagons to amount to UAH 20 bln in 2016
The investment of PJSC Ukrainska Zaliznytsia in upgrading tracks, locomotives, and wagons will amount to UAH 20 billion in 2016, the press service of the company has reported.
"Ukrzaliznytsia will be able to earn money, work qualitatively, and effectively fulfill state orders. We are already working on the financial plan of the company for 2016, which provides for investment in the renewal of tracks, locomotives and cars in the amount of about UAH 20 billion," Infrastructure Minister Andriy Pyvovarsky said.
As reported, the Ministry of Infrastructure plans to approve the financial plan of Ukrzaliznytsia by the end of the year. The economic activities of the newly established PJSC Ukrainska Zaliznytsia are supposed to begin on December 1, 2015.
