State Aviation Service commission recommends allowing two airlines to fly to Minsk from Ukrainian cities
The State Aviation Service commission for assigning flights has presented several recommendations to the head of the State Aviation Service, including on flight assignments to Mink (Belarus) from Ukrainian cities, the State Aviation Service has reported on its website.
The commission has recommended that public joint-stock company Dniproavia should be assigned Ivano-Frankivsk-Mink-Ivano-Frankivsk flights (seven flights a week) and Dnipropetrovsk-Minsk-Dnipropetrovsk flights (seven flights a week). In addition, it was recommended that the airline should be assigned Dnipropetrovsk-Chisinau-Dnipropetrovsk flights (seven flights a week). The assignment will remain in effect until October 31, 2025.
In addition, the commission recommended that Motor Sich airline should be assigned Zaporizhia-Minsk-Zaporizhia flights (seven flights a week) with a continuing expiration term. The commission recommended that the airline should not be assigned Kyiv-Minsk-Kyiv flights, as the Air Code states that the refusal to assign these flights could be linked to restrictions foreseen in international agreements signed by Ukraine, or agreements signed between aviation authorities on Ukrainian aviation rules.
The commission recommended that Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv) should also be assigned several flights. This concerns the re-registration of the assignment for Kyiv-Amman-Kyiv flights (seven flights a week) and Kyiv-Aktau-Kyiv flights (two flights a week) until October 20, 2065. In addition, UIA was assigned Kharkiv-Kutaisi-Kharkiv flights (twice a week) until October 20, 2065. The commission also recommended that the airline should not be assigned Kyiv-Beirut-Kyiv flights.
The commission's recommendations also concern Yanair airline, specifically that it should be assigned Kyiv-Gyumri-Kyiv flights (five flights a week) and Odesa-Gyumri-Odesa flights (seven flights a week) from December 1, 2015 to October 24, 2019. The commission refused to assign the airline flights from Kyiv-Minsk-Kyiv, Odesa-Tel-Aviv-Odesa, Kyiv-Baku-Kyiv, Kyiv-Chisinau-Kyiv, Odesa-Yerevan-Odesa and Kyiv-Schönefeld-Kyiv.
Windrose was assigned Kyiv-Tashkent-Kyiv flights (twice a week) with a continuing expiration term, as well as Kyiv-Tivat-Kyiv flights (once a week) until March 26, 2016.
The commission also recommended that Atlasjet Ukraine LLC should have its assignment to Kyiv-Larnaca-Kyiv flights revoked.
