Share of imported gas by Ukraine from EU 61%, from Russia 39% over ten months
Natural gas delivered from Russia in January-October 2015 made up 39% of the overall volume of imports to Ukraine, while gas from Europe made up 61%, the Ukrtransgaz press service said.
According to the press service, over the ten months of this year Ukraine imported an overall 14.8 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas from all suppliers.
In particular, in October some 1.99 billion cubic meters of gas was imported from Russia, while Europe supplied some 440 million cubic meters (including from Slovakia, which supplied 390 million cubic meters).
