Public joint-stock company Ukrnafta, the country's largest oil production company, in October 2015 fulfilled its tax liabilities in full, sending UAH 1.053 billion to the national budget, the company's press service reported on Monday.
The press service said that royalty payments in October totaled UAH 674.01 million, VAT – UAH 208.7 million, profit tax – UAH 95.3 million, and other taxes – UAH 75.08 million.
Under joint activity agreements the company paid UAH 276.6 million in royalties, UAH 140,000 in VAT, and UAH 11.4 million in other taxes.
As reported, as of September 30, 2015, the unpaid part of Ukrnafta's tax liabilities was UAH 8.421 billion and other liabilities – UAH 478.136 million.
Naftogaz Ukrainy owns a 50% plus one share stake in Ukrnafta and a group of companies related to the shareholders of PrivatBank (Dnipropetrovsk) holds about 42% of the shares in the company.
