Health ministry agreeing purchase of medicines worth UAH 750 mln with Crown Agents
Representatives of the Health Ministry of Ukraine and Britain's Crown Agents discussed the technical details of the agreement to supply medicines worth over UAH 750 million at the first consultation meeting on October 28
The press service of Health Ministry reported, referring to Deputy Health Minister Ihor Perehynets, the ministry plans to buy some cancer medicine, oncohematological medicines and chemotherapeutic agents with the help of Crown Agents.
Crown Agents Senior Consultant Christine Jackson said that Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors could also take part in the medicine procurement tender.
"We've received a list of medicines that Ukraine plans to buy in the person of Health Ministry. Our pharmacologists are studying it, and if we have questions we would discuss them. Despite the fact that this is an international process, all Ukrainian manufacturers, suppliers and distributors of medicines are invited to participate in the tenders," she said.
