Naftogaz Ukrainy plans to attract $500 million from the World Bank to buy gas before the end of the year, chairman of the Naftogaz management board, Andriy Kobolev said at the second annual 'Conductors of Change' directors forum in Kyiv on Thursday.

"Negotiations are ongoing now, therefore we hope to get it this year, by the end of December," he said.
