Competition agency permits Russia's MTS to buy controlling shares in NVision Group with Ukrainian division
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has permitted public joint-stock company Mobile Telesystems to indirectly acquire shares in JSC NVision Group (both based in Russia), which grants exceeding 50% of the votes in the management body of the company, the committee said in a report.
It is permitted to acquire the shares via Telecom Projects LLC (Russia) and Baggio Holding B.V. (the Netherlands).
Earlier MTS announced its plans to acquire 100% of NVision Group, including Ukrainian division, by the end of this year.
NVision Group designs IT and communications solutions and services. In September 2012, after the merger with assets of Sistema the united group included Sitronics IT and Sitronics Telecom Solutions.
