A tender to select the head of state enterprise Ukrenergo has failed, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine has reported.
"Based on the results of the discussion and analysis of bids from participants in the tender, the commission came to the conclusion that proposals for the management of Ukrenergo, presented by the participants in the tender, do not provide adequate enterprise management," the report said..
In this regard, the commission repeatedly announced a tender for the post of Ukrenergo head.
Some 13 applicants took part in the competition.
As reported, Yuriy Kasich was acting director of Ukrenergo from the end of December 2014 to October 2015 but was succeeded by deputy director of the company Vsevolod Kovalchuk as acting director.
