Cargill, other U.S. companies satisfied with introduction of electronic VAT administration system
U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker has said that U.S. companies, including the largest U.S. agricultural company Cargill, are satisfied with the introduction of the electronic VAT administration system.
"Cargill is one of the leading American companies, which has long been investing in Ukraine, noted how important was the introduction of an electronic VAT administration system for their business, but a lot of work has to be done to liquidate VAT arrears. Cargill and other U.S. companies are satisfied with the introduction of the electronic system of VAT refunds," she said at a joint briefing with Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk.
According to Pritzker, Ukraine should continue to implement reforms in agriculture, energy and other sectors. She also reaffirmed that U.S. President Barack Obama supports the Ukrainian government.
