Ukrtransgaz sees UAH 7.4 bln in net profit in Jan-Sept

Public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz saw UAH 7.382 billion in net profit in January-September 2015 compared to UAH 795.147 million of net loss year-over-year.

The company said in a report that its net sales revenue in the period grew by 70.7%, to UAH 17.728 billion, while gross profit soared by 6.3 times, to UAH 9.23 billion.

In Q3 2015, Ukrtransgaz saw UAH 2.815 billion, while a year ago its net loss stood at UAH 897.143 million.

Net revenue in Q3 2015 grew by 2.4 times, to UAH 6.713 billion, while gross profit grew by 6.1 times, to UAH 3.129 billion.

As reported, Ukraine in January-September 2015 reduced the transit of natural gas to Europe and Moldova by 3.7% compared to the same period in 2014, to 48.351 billion cubic meters. Europe received 46.313 billion cubic meters of gas, and Moldova received 2.038 billion cubic meters of gas.

Ukrtransgaz, 100% of which is owned by Naftogaz Ukrainy, which operates the main gas pipeline system, has 12 underground storage facilities.
