Premier forecasts 2% growth of Ukrainian economy in 2016
The growth of the Ukrainian economy in 2016 is expected to reach 2%, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has stated.
"We forecast that in 2016 the growth of the Ukrainian economy will be 2%," Yatseniuk said in the program "Ten minutes with the prime minister" on Sunday night.
However, he noted that the growth of the Ukrainian economy depends on the state of the global economy. In this regard he noted the agreement on a free trade area between Ukraine and the EU comes into force from January 1, 2016.
