Ukrenergo to complete tender for purchase of 22 transformers in Dec

Ukrenergo plans to complete tender procedures for the purchase of 22 transformers in the second half of December, acting director of the company Vsevolod Kovalchuk has said.

"We plan by November 19 to receive proposals [from potential bidders]... At the second stage price proposals will be submitted, and we plan to finalize the tender in the second half of December," he said at a briefing in Kyiv.

Kovalchuk added that Ukrenergo sent out invitations to participate in the tender to Alstom, ABB, Siemens, Zaporizhtransformator, Hyundai, Hyosung and Iljin.

"We also invite all other companies that can deliver such equipment [to participate]," he said.

As reported, the deadline for submitting offers for the tender has been extended until November 19, 2015. The delivery must be made during 2016 and includes delivery, unloading and installation.
