Energy Ministry proposes Cabinet increases average public gas consumption
Ukraine's Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry has proposed that the Cabinet of Ministers should increase the average of gas consumption by the public (if counters are not installed) from 3 cubic meters to 4.4 cubic meters per capita a month.
The relevant draft document has been posted on the website of the energy ministry.
Earlier, Head of Naftogaz Ukrainy Andriy Kobolev said there had been a sharp decline in average gas consumption which put people off installing meters, moreover some citizens appealed to regional gas companies asking that they dismantle the previously installed metering devices.
