Draft tax reform foresees direct subsidies for farmers, retaining VAT special regime for cattle breeders only
The draft law on tax reform agreed by the National Reforms Council foresees the revoking of the special VAT regime, except for cattle breeders, and the introduction of direct subsidies for farmers.
"Jointly with the [agriculture] sector representatives we've studied [the special regime issue]. I proposed that the special VAT regime is revoked for everyone, apart from cattle breeders, and only in exchange to direct subsidies from the state," chairman of the profile parliamentary committee for tax and customs policy, Nina Yuzhanina said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
She said that the draft law with the relevant proposals was agreed by the working group after a meeting of the National Reforms Council.
