UIA prolongs contract with president until Sept 2018 - manager
President of Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv) Yuriy Miroshnykov will head the airline until at least 2018, Head of the UIA supervisory board Aron Maiberg wrote on his Facebook page.
"The supervisory board extended the contract with the airline's president to September 2018. The extension of the contract for three years is evidence that the company's shareholders positively assess the role of UIA's top managers in the stable development of the airline," he wrote.
Miroshnykov has been working with UIA since 1993. He has headed the airline since September 2004.
UIA was founded in 1992. It is the largest Ukrainian airline. The base airport is Boryspil airport. UIA's fleet consists of 31 aircraft: 27 medium-haul and four long-haul aircraft.
