Ukraine imports 10.8 mln tonnes of coal worth $1.25 bln in nine months
Ukraine in January-September 2015 imported coal and anthracite (foreign activity code 2701) in the amount of $1.250 billion, in particular in September for $124.288 million.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the total volume of products supplied to the country in the first nine months of the year amounted to 10.837 million tonnes.
In the first nine months of this year, Russia supplied coal for $567.388 million, the United States - $328.507 million, Australia - $95.944 million, and other countries - $257.782 million.
At the same time, Ukraine in January-September exported 444,047 tonnes of coal and anthracite for $41.147 million, in particular in September for $3.369 million.
As reported, in 2014 Ukraine imported 14.697 million tonnes of coal and anthracite worth $1.773 billion, while it exported 7.047 million tonnes for $521.017 million.
