Ukrenergo switches Melitopol-Dzhankoi power grid on
Ukrenergo, in the evening of October 12, completed work on restoring a damaged transmission line pole of the 330 kV Melitopol-Dzhankoi power grid and in the morning of October 13 switched on the power line.
"On October 13 at 06:08 the Melitopol-Dzhankoi power grid was switched on. This allowed [the company] to resume work on the reconstruction of the Kakhovka-Dzhankoi line, which, in accordance with the agreed timetable, will last until 19:00 on October 18. After that, energy supply to Crimea will be implemented as normal," Ukrenergo said.
As reported, the Interior Ministry was notified about the damage to the reinforced concrete pole of the high-voltage Melitopol-Dzhankoi power grid located 1 km from the village of Chonhar, in the morning of October 6. According to live data, the damage was due to undermining.
