Fiscal service, business ombudsman sign memo of cooperation
The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine jointly with the office of business ombudsman would create expert groups to study and analyze claims of business representatives against actions of tax agencies.
"We're creating a permanent working group between the State Fiscal Service and the office of business ombudsman… Claims arriving to the office of business ombudsman are consolidated. Sometimes personal, sometimes group's applications are discussed. We're trying to come to the problem resolution's concept," Head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov said after signing the memorandum of cooperation with business ombudsman Algirdas Semeta on Monday.
The document foresees exchange of information between the two agencies and expert help to resolve problems appeared during contacts of business representatives with taxmen.
"We're trying to resolve the problems at the lower level… We have a lot of case s when it is impossible to settle the problem at the lower level," Semeta said.
