Poroshenko, Kazakh premier discuss diversification of gas supplies, expansion of transport infrastructure
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, as a part of his official visit to Kazakhstan, at a meeting with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov on Thursday discussed the gas sector and transport infrastructure.
"Special attention was paid to the broadening of transport infrastructure for the transportation of cargo from Asia to Europe across Kazakhstan and Ukraine. It goes about the project in the framework of the Silk Road Economic Belt along the route Western China - Western Europe," the press service of the head of state reported.
The parties also discussed the diversification of gas supplies to Ukraine.
