Ukrenergo proposes that all its suppliers revise prices downwards
Ukrenergo will hold negotiations with all of its suppliers to reduce prices
The corresponding decision is stipulated in order No. 292 dated October 7 made by company acting CEO Vsevolod Kovalchuk.
"[The company will seek to reduce prices of supplies] in connection with the stabilization of the national currency exchange rate, the termination of the fall of Ukraine's economy (GDP growth, according to the NBU, in the third quarter 2015 was 1%), and taking into account partial payment by Energomarket for electricity transmission services," the company said.
"I expect that in 90% of our contracts we'll reduce prices by 10% or even halve all purchase prices. Absolutely all the information on contractors who voluntarily agree to reduce prices on the objects [of current construction], which will be cheaper than they would cost if there are no these changes, will be available on our website," Kovalchuk told journalists in Kyiv.
