Kyiv not planning to buy electricity from Russia in October
Ukraine so far is not planning to buy electricity in Russia this month, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn told reporters after a government meeting on Wednesday.
"We are so far not planning anything for October, maybe this is not such a bad idea, because the price of electricity in Russia is very cheap, cheaper than what we can buy from the heat generation at the moment," he said.
