Ukraine resumes commercial electricity exports to Poland - Ukrenergo
Energy generating company PJSC DTEK Zakhidenergo from October 1 included block No. 7 of Dobrotvirska thermal power plant (TPP) in the 220 kV Dobrotvirska TPP-Zamosc power grid to export electricity to Poland.
According to the press service of Ukrenergo, the unit load is 135 MW.
Previously, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Volodymyr Demchyshyn said that commercial exports of electricity to Poland needed to be resumed in October.
As reported, Ukrainian electricity supplies to Poland with a capacity of 235 MW are routed through the interstate power grid Dobrotvirska TPP-Zamosc.
Electricity supplies to Poland in January-August 2015 amounted to 37.7 million kilowatt-hours, the entire amount was delivered in July. In January-August 2014 exports to Poland totaled 685.8 million kWh of electricity.
