Yatseniuk says Russia's retaliatory sanctions against Ukrainian airlines are groundless
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that Russia's retaliatory sanctions against Ukrainian airlines are groundless.
He said at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday that Ukraine has introduced sanctions against Russia as Russia had seized Crimea, and parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
"Our northern neighbors started threatening without any grounds and introducing retaliatory measures against Ukrainian airlines. I want to stress that the key principle in international relations is the principle of reciprocity. If the Russians think that thus they will destroy our airlines, nothing is going to work out," he said.
