Real income of Ukrainians 34% down in Q2, 2015, nominal 7.1% up - statistics
The real disposable income of Ukrainians, determined using the price factor, in the second quarter of 2015 decreased by 34% compared to the same period of 2014, the State Statistics Service has reported.
According to the report, in January-June 2015 disposable income for goods and services increased by 4.8%, and nominally increased by 7.1%.
Disposable income per person in the first six months of this year totaled UAH 7,121, which is UAH 352.4 more than during the same period last year.
Household spending in the second quarter of 2015 compared to the same period last year increased by 13.5%, and the increase in savings amounted to UAH 2.379 billion.
