Ukrainian farm produce exports to Russia amount to $193.3 mln in eight months
The amount of exports of Ukrainian farm produce to Russia January through August 2015 amounted to $193.3 million, whereas total exports in 2014 stood at $982.7 million, Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Oleksiy Pavlenko wrote on Twitter on Monday.
He also shared the dynamics of Ukrainian farm produce exports to Russia in 2010-2015. In particular, exports in 2010 were estimated at $1.9 billion, they totaled $2.1 billion in 2011 and $2 billion in 2012 and 2013 each.
As was reported with reference to the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry, the surplus of Ukraine's foreign trade January through July 2015 amounted to $5.6 billion.
Farm produce exports in the seven months of 2015 totaled $7.7 billion, or 35.7% of Ukraine's total exports, while imports made up $2.2 billion, or 10.5% of total imports.
