Ukraine imports 8.3 mln tonnes of coal worth $1.1 bln in Jan-Aug
Ukraine imports coal and anthracite (foreign economic activity code 2701) worth $1.121 billion in January-August 2015, including coal worth $138.117 million in August.
According to the State Fiscal Service, a total of 9.651 million tonnes of coal was supplied to the country.
Coal worth $498.771 million was shipped from Russia, coal worth $304.054 million from the United States, coal worth $89.074 million from Australia and other countries - $229.449 million.
Ukraine exported 411,234 tonnes of coal and anthracite worth $37.778 million, including coal worth $2.101 million in August. Coal was supplied to Slovakia in August.
