Mogherini reassures Klimkin that EU supports Minsk agreements
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin told journalists in Brussels on Monday that he had met with EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini and discussed Nadia Savchenko, Oleh Sentsov, and Oleksandr Kolchenko, who are being illegally held in Russia
Klimkin said that Mogherini reassured him of the support of the EU and gave "clear signals of solidarity with Ukraine" over the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
"We agreed on the further steps, on how the European Union would back implementation of the Minsk process, and how would we cooperate with the EU in efficient preparation for the implementation of the Association Agreement, especially when talking on the deeper Free Trade Area (FTA)," Klimkin said.
